How do you authenticate items?
Specialists review construction, materials, codes, hallmarks, movement details and known production characteristics as relevant.
Is a receipt enough to prove authenticity?
No. Paperwork supports provenance, but the item itself is independently assessed.
What if you cannot authenticate my item?
We explain the outcome and follow the return arrangements agreed before handover.

Do you buy damaged items?
We consider many used items with honest signs of wear. Serious damage can affect demand and the offer.
Should I clean my item first?
Avoid aggressive cleaning, polishing or recolouring. Clear photographs of its current state are more useful.
Do repairs affect value?
They can. Tell us about known repairs, replaced parts or alterations so they can be considered.

How do I send my item?
After an offer is accepted, we explain the insured send-in or suitable in-person option.
Is my item insured in transit?
The permitted service and cover are confirmed in the handover instructions. Do not use ordinary post for a high-value item.
Can I visit in person?
An appropriate in-person check may be arranged depending on the item, value and location.
