What personal data we process

• Enquiries and valuations — name, email, phone, item photographs and descriptions, provenance notes, and messages you send for a private offer or support. Indicative AI valuations are reviewed by a human before any purchase offer is confirmed.
• Website and cookies — technical data such as IP address, browser, device, and necessary storage for forms; optional analytics and advertising cookies only after you Accept. See Cookies.
• Shop orders — if you buy on shop.encoreluxe.co.uk, order and payment data are processed there under that shop’s privacy and GDPR pages (Hypernode host; Mollie/PayPal for payments).
• Correspondence — emails, form messages, and notes of calls about a valuation, sale, or enquiry.

Purposes and lawful bases

• Contract — to take steps at your request toward a valuation or purchase, arrange collection or payment, or complete a sale.
• Legitimate interests — to run and secure our services, prevent fraud, keep limited business records, and reply to general enquiries, balanced against your rights.
• Legal obligation — where we must retain invoices, tax records, or respond to a lawful request.
• Consent — for optional cookies, analytics and advertising after you Accept on the cookie bar (PECR), and for any optional marketing you expressly agree to. You may withdraw consent at any time via Change cookie settings in the footer or by contacting us.

Processors and sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where needed, under instruction or contract where appropriate:

• Hosting — Netlify (this marketing site) and Hypernode for the Magento shop.
• Analytics / ads — Google Tag Manager, Analytics and Ads only after cookie Accept.
• Forms / email — Netlify Forms and our email inbox for valuation and contact messages.
• Payments (shop) — Mollie and/or PayPal when you checkout on the shop.
• Couriers — collection or dispatch partners when arranging insured UK logistics.
• Professional advisers and authorities — where required or permitted by law.

Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens we use appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy decisions.

Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, including legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention and dispute-resolution needs. Enquiry and valuation material that does not become a transaction is periodically reviewed and deleted or anonymised when no longer needed. Cookie lifetimes are described in the cookie policy.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may ask us to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• rectify inaccurate personal data;
• erase data in certain circumstances;
• restrict or object to certain processing;
• receive a portable copy of information you provided; and
• withdraw consent where we rely on it (including optional cookies).

Email hello@encoreluxe.co.uk (or ask for the DPO, Ashley Hainsworth) to exercise these rights. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office — our supervisory authority — at ico.org.uk or ico.org.uk/global/contact-us. We welcome the chance to resolve a concern first.

An ICO data-protection fee registration number is not published on our sister Bed Kingdom privacy notice; Encore Luxe cites the ICO as supervisory authority. Ashley can add a registration number here if Flair Furniture Ltd holds one.

Essential technology keeps forms and security working. Optional analytics and advertising run only after Accept, under PECR.
